I have a confession…. I am a terrible cook. Really! I suck! Big Time! If it wasn’t for the grocery store deli and a few canned goods, my family would starve.
That’s why I jumped at the opportunity to attend a cooking demonstration by the amazing Chef Marcus Samuelsson! Macy’s Culinary Council is bringing him to Lenox Mall in Atlanta this weekend.
I. Cannot. Wait. I’m gonna sit at his feet and watch him work wonders in the kitchen. I know if he can help a poor soul like me, he can do anything.
I must admit though, it isn’t his culinary talent that has me mesmerized- although I’m quite fond of his cooking ability. But that smile, oh that smile. How can I not stare?
So, this Saturday, if you’re looking for me, I’ll be in the kitchen with Chef Marcus Samuelsson stalking learning all there is to know about preparing a delightful meal!

Whatcha learn & have you used it yet?
I really hope you learn something. I am so sad for my brother and niece and nephews. All they get is canned green beans, yellow or white rice and fried drummetes. When its a Sunday, you sometimes buy a rottisere (sp?) chicken.
Fun! Macy’s Culinary Council was in my neck of the woods not too long ago but I missed it! Have fun! You crack me up. Maybe he will spoon feed you some of his yummy food! LOL
I like his smile, and cooking style… and in that order
Yes, he’s pretty awesome and has a twinkle in his eyes! I met him randomly at a restaurant years ago in Harlem (pre-Red Rooster) not knowing it was him. I was so embarrassed when I realized a couple days later who he was O_o Enjoy the event!
