I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, teacher, and writer. Born and raised in South Carolina, I grew accustomed to grits and gravy, watermelon, rice and good ol’ Coca Cola. I met and married Mr. Incredible, had 3 incredible children and now live an incredible life in Atlanta.
My career as a high school English teacher allows me to continue behaving like a teenager even though I’m well into my 20′s 30′s. I co-authored a nonfiction book entitled, Mi Familia- The Autobiography of Us. This book, written as a gift to my parents, chronicles the experiences of myself and my four fabulous sisters while growing up in South Carolina.
I completed my Master’s degree from Georgia State University and often struggle to maintain the many responsibilities of my life. But I figure…. if Superwoman can do it, I can strap on my cape and do it too.
I am shamefully addicted to reality TV and want to be adopted by Oprah Winfrey. In my spare time I can be found in the drive thru of a local fast food establishment. Aside from stalking celebrities ( more specifically, Denzel Washington) I’m working on a fiction novel that will hopefully be a New York Times best seller.
